Specific Need
Sunset Zoo is proud to have opened Expedition Asia in 2022. The new habitats are wonderful new homes for endangered tigers, sloth bears, and Amur leopards and will help in their survival plan as a species. With this success, Sunset Zoo is ready to focus on the next phase of our Master Plan. As part of the plan, the Grow Green campaign will focus on enhancing the Historic Limestone Pavilion, built in 1954, which needs restoration. The pavilion is a place that nearly every guest visits while enjoying the playground, a picnic under the shelter, or shade in summer. So, join us as we continue to grow into our next phase of improvements for the community!

The Sunset Zoo is committed to our Mission of inspiring conservation of the natural world by maintaining our accreditation with the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) and supporting in-the-field conservation efforts.
