Profile

What we do

FABA is a non-profit trade association with membership in the National Association of Home Builders and the Kansas Building Industry Association. The organization offers a self-insured Workers Compensation Plan through Kansas Builders Insurance Group that has paid dividends to

Since 1977, the Flint Hills Area Builders Association has brought together hundreds of businesses dedicated to providing high-quality, affordable/suitable housing to our community. We have more than 200 members across Riley County, Geary County, Clay County, Pottawatomie County, Marshall County, and Morris County, and we're growing every day. The need for labor in the area construction workforce is great. Our builders supply an excellent job opportunity and our associate members support those trades with more jobs and economic impact through taxes and employment.

We represent the consumers remodeling or building a new home in our area. We represent builders and their associated businesses both residential and commercial. We advocate for the residential building industry with our local and state government. We support housing in all areas, from affordable housing to luxury living. We protect consumers and builders from excessive regulation.

Our goal with the Greater Manhattan Community Foundation FABA Infinity Fund is to continue the investment in our youth and transitioning workforce.

We all benefit and enjoy the comforts of our homes and workplace. Safe homes to live in and quality of life in the workforce remain as our priority.  Our wish is to provide and employ more people to our workforce, thereby improving our community with well trained staff that are beneficial to our community and prosperous friends and neighbors.
