The vast majority of students want to have a healthy marriage and family one day.  We want that for them too.  Your gift to Relate 360 ensures that we are able to put quality educators in schools who educate and challenge students to think about their future goals and encourage them to make healthy decisions about sex and relationships.  Join us in investing in the healthy relationships of the next generation! 

Mission

Mission:  Relate 360 is an evidence-based program that presents a wholesome comprehensive curriculum that aligns with the Kansas State standards for health education. We give an interactive, medically accurate, age appropriate 3-5 day presentation that gives students from middle school to college, the knowledge they need to make healthy choices when it comes to sex and relationships. This means we will always recommend the healthiest choices regarding sex and relationships based on medical and social science.  The Center for Disease Control (CDC) states that “The most reliable way to avoid the transmission of STDs is to abstain from sexual activity or to be in a long-term, mutually monogamous relationship with an uninfected partner.”  Do we encourage abstinence?  Absolutely!  However, we also know that about 40% of teens will become sexually active in high school so we emphasize their responsibility to themselves and their partner(s) in this decision, making sure they understand the risks and give them the information they need to be as safe and healthy as possible.  We also stress that optimal health is more than just the absence of disease.

Profile

Relate 360 speaks to about 2,000 students in about 20 schools around the Flint Hills Region.  We speak to students in 6th, 8th, 9th and 12 grades, and continue to see amazing responses in all our student groups.  In some of the schools, our presentations are the students only week of health class their entire K-12 experience. We are honored that the students and teachers of the Flint Hills want Relate 360 to keep coming back!!

We also have a Parent Program.  We speak to adults in schools, churches and homes who want to learn how to better communicate with their children about relationships.  It's awesome that Relate 360 speaks to students, but parents and caregivers are with them far more than we can be.  It is our goal to help parents and caregivers walk alongside their students with open communication to support and guide them in this important area.
