Financial resources to enable us to give our clients a more significant boost so they can get their budgets back on track to make real change and not face the same problems every month. We are also seeing an increase in number of clients who need help.

To provide compassionate and caring assistance to those in need of financial support by helping pay for rent, utilities and prescription medications.
Profile
Shepherd's Crossing is a mission-centered outreach program started by the Manhattan Ministerial Association in 2001 to address the ever-increasing requests for financial assistance in Riley County and St. George. We are the first stop for those in financial crisis. With our dedicated staff and highly trained volunteers, we gather the necessary paperwork, do client interviews with budget counseling, and then educate about additional resources in the area. Other agencies know the vetting process we use, and trust us if our clients come to them for additional funds when ours run low. We also process the applications for Fairy Godmothers, Guardians, and Lion's Club grants which our staff spend many hours on each month.
