Center of Hope Ministry

Goal: $50,000.00

Specific Need

Reducing individuals and families experiencing homelessness is achievable.

Reducing the stigma, caring for, and seeing them as people that are facing a tough situation and being homeless is not their identity is where we start.

This past winter was monumental for The Center of Hope Ministry's warming shelter.

Here is a snapshot of the direct impact we had on the community with cooperative efforts across the social service and care network:

From November 20, 2025 - March 16, 2026 we were open all 117 nights, where 155 adults and children (unduplicated) accounted for 3,217 bed nights.

In that time, we experienced 73 guests exit homelessness and move into a safe place.

37 guests maintained or gained new employment while staying at the shelter.

13 guests entered rehab or got clean/sober.

Providing a safe place to sleep allowed other agencies to geographically transition 47 individuals to a place where they would have support and a fresh start.

Volunteers have been crucial to our success. This season we were able to add paid overnight staff for the first time.

Your contribution will go toward securing the future of The Center of Hope Ministry as we endeavor to move to a location and facility that we can call “home”, hire staff, and meet the needs of the most marginalized in our community every season, giving them HOPE and ONE MORE DAY!

Mission

The Center of Hope Ministry is committed to meeting the needs of our neighbors in the homeless community with empathy, kindness, and compassion. By providing a safe, warm place to escape the harsh winter nights we are able to renew the hearts, minds, and souls of our neighbors giving them hope... and one more day.
