Solar Kiwanis of Manhattan

Specific Need

Solar Kiwanis helps children in our community by participating in and supporting programs like the Boys & Girls Club of Manhattan, The Royal Family Kids Camp, and the Flint Hills Breadbasket, who provide assistance, education and related opportunities for our youth.

Mission

Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers, who are dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time. 

In addition to the program support noted above, Manhattan Solar Kiwanis supports USD 383 Child Nutrition, USD 383 Elementary and High School Band and Orchestra Programs, Summer Youth Softball, The Sunset Zoo's Culture City program for guests with sensory sensitivity, and the Manhattan Big Brothers and Big Sisters.

Profile

Our Manhattan Solar Kiwanis also supports local Kiwanis youth programs, such as K-State's Circle K, the Manhattan High School Key Club, the Riley County High School Key Club, and the Wamego Aktion Club.
