Mission

To support early prenatal care and promote positive outcomes for mother and baby by assisting those with no access to health insurance.

Profile

The Riley County Perinatal Coalition (RCPC) is a group of dedicated community agencies who have a strong interest in the care of women, children and families.  The RCPC was originally formed to address the community need of access to prenatal care.  After much collaboration, in April 2015, the RCPC grant program was initiated. Women with no access to health insurance are able to apply for the grant which covers their prenatal care. Women who receive adequate prenatal care have better outcomes with early detection of health conditions that can be managed during the pregnancy which increases the likelihood of having a healthy, full-term baby. This helps create a strong foundation for our community.
